 A Kid’s Guide to Separation and Divorce

Excellent, interactive site for children from British Columbia. Animated children explain (in voice and writing) different aspects of separation and divorce including: why parents separate, the law, how kids may feel, and coping tools for kids.


Sites for Teens

A Teen’s Guide to Parental Separation and Divorce

Complete with soundtrack, site developed by BC Government. Addresses such issues as What’s happening and why, changes in your life, your emotions, strategies, about the law, resources and FAQ.

Advice, representation, and referrals for children and young people under 18 years of age.

Sites for Adults 

 Ministry of the Attorney General Ontario

Provides information about court locations, supervised access centres, the Child Support guidelines, Office of the Children’s Lawyer, and family court forms (choose “Family Justice”).

Provides information about location of legal aid offices, and the services available for family law clients (choose “Family Law Services” under search).
